The unlock fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee paid to access an expert's full profile, including contact information. Once paid, this fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, regardless of whether you proceed to book a session.
The unlock fee is credited toward your first session booking with that expert. You pay only the difference between the session fee and the amount already paid to unlock.
After unlocking a profile, you may propose two available time slots to the expert. The expert has 48 hours to confirm one of the proposed slots.
Session fees are charged only after the expert confirms a time slot. The session fee due at booking is the published session rate for that expert's tier, minus the unlock fee already paid.
If an expert does not respond within 48 hours of receiving a booking request, you will be notified and given the option to request a different expert. In this case, your session fee (if already charged) will be refunded in full. The original unlock fee is not refundable.
If you cancel a confirmed session more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, your session fee will be refunded minus a flat GHS 10 processing fee. The unlock fee is never included in any refund.
If you cancel within 24 hours of the session, no refund is issued for the session fee.
If the expert cancels, your session fee is refunded in full. The unlock fee remains non-refundable.
During a live session, you may request a time extension. Extension blocks are priced at 95% of the equivalent base block for the expert's tier. Extension charges are collected before the extension begins and are non-refundable once the additional time has started.
Experts receive 80% of the session fee. Payouts are triggered only after a session is marked complete. No funds are transferred to the expert for sessions that are cancelled, refunded, or disputed. Paystack Transfer fees, if any, are borne by the platform.
To raise a dispute about a session, contact support within 48 hours of the session end time. Disputes are reviewed by Cedimaker admin staff. We reserve the right to make a final decision on refund eligibility based on session logs, communications, and other evidence.
Cedimaker reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. Continued use of Data60 constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
